What is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP*)?

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP*) are non-residential programs that are designed to give those struggling with their mental health a structured program for relief. We can help you understand your emotions, so if you feel like your life and education are falling apart, we can help you build skills that help you better manage your routines and help you through university and beyond.

Our program is available throughout the day and in the evening, which helps those with academic and professional responsibilities find the time to visit our treatment facility and get the therapy and guidance they need. We can help those looking for outpatient care and those who want comprehensive care for their mental health.

What are the Benefits of an Intensive Outpatient Program*?

There are several benefits of choosing outpatient services:

You can get regular treatment at our intensive outpatient facility without having to move away from home or your university campus.

We help you build coping mechanisms to help you manage better throughout your day. You can test those coping skills in real time since you continue living at home and carrying out your regular responsibilities. For instance, if you have bipolar, BPD, GAD, or other crippling disorders, the coping mechanisms you learn can be tested in real-time at school, work, and home. If they don’t work or don’t work in certain settings, we’ll adjust our recommendations.

You will attend peer support groups as part of your addiction and mental health treatment. Group therapy is essential for finding a community and a sense of belonging.

With an intensive approach toward your treatment, you can make serious strides toward your treatment goals.

Who is Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP*) For?

An intensive outpatient program (IOP*) is for anyone who struggles in their daily life due to their mental health. We can help even if you have never struggled before but now find yourself stressed and burned out due to your university workload. Similarly, we can help you if you recently experienced a sudden trauma, like a car accident or the death of a loved one, and it’s impacting your quality of life, ability to study, or work performance. We can help those who are struggling with our:

We can help those with a severe addiction to drugs or alcohol to those with a less severe addiction. The only difference is whether or not you need a medical detox first. If you do, then we’ll recommend inpatient programs. Inpatient treatment is essential in this case since withdrawals can be dangerous, even deadly. Inpatient programs are essential for those with drug or alcohol addiction, as they help you through the withdrawal period. Once you complete the inpatient portion of your recovery, you can then continue your addiction treatment with us.

We offer addiction treatment to anyone struggling with addiction, regardless of whether it’s from drugs, alcohol, or another source like gambling or sex.

We offer a wide range of treatment options for those with mood disorders or trauma. If you suffer from PTSD, anxiety, or panic attacks or are constantly on edge and are suffering from it, get in touch with our team. We can help you address your mental health issues in a variety of ways, from talk therapy to medication management to unique options like EMDR.

We can help you if your primary diagnosis is depression or if your depression is a comorbid condition (meaning you are experiencing depression as a side effect of another mental health condition). We are here for your emotional health either way and can offer talking therapy sessions, group therapy sessions, and medication to help.

ADHD is not in and of itself a mental health issue, but it can make it difficult to keep up in class or at work. If you are struggling, we can help you by providing coping skills, therapy, and group support.

We can help you with any type of anxiety disorder or similar mental health issues. At our treatment center, you’ll have access to standard outpatient programs and personalized programs to help you address the source of your anxiety and build coping skills to help you gain confidence so that you can thrive.

We help those with personality disorders like borderline personality disorder understand their emotions, their impact on others, and how to cope with their disorder with practical strategies and skills. We can also help if, on top of the primary diagnosis, you also suffer from substance abuse. We can easily combine your BPD and addiction treatment into one program so that you can make progress on all fronts.

We can help you with your OCD, bipolar treatment, trauma, and so much more. We can help you if you only have one or several comorbid conditions. For example, you may develop an eating disorder due to your anxiety. Similarly, you may turn to substance abuse as a way to self-medicate your PTSD.

You get a personalized treatment plan when you start our intensive outpatient program (IOP*). This personalized treatment plan means we can help regardless of the combination of symptoms you experience or if you also need addiction treatment. With us, you can get the relief you are looking for.
